Two new things on Jetmap — a flight heatmap and a better anniversary warning

If you've been flying for a few years and you're anything like me, you've got a rough sense of when you tend to travel — Easter, school holidays, the occasional work trip that turns into a long weekend. But until now there wasn't a great way to actually see that at a glance.

We've added a calendar heatmap to the stats page. It works exactly the way you'd expect — each square is a day, darker means more flights, and you can flick between years to compare. It's the kind of thing that makes you realise you flew five times in March 2023 but barely left the ground the rest of the year. Hit "Jump to" → Flight Activity Heatmap to find it.

The second change is to the status anniversary countdown on the tracker page. It was there before, but honestly it was easy to miss — just a small line of text near the top. We've made it a proper card now, with the day count front and centre and a colour change as the deadline approaches (green → orange under 90 days → red under 30). If you're chasing Platinum One or trying to retain Gold and you've got 40 days left in your membership year, you probably want that front of mind rather than buried in a wall of text.
